Rider feedback from 2023

If you want to improve your riding, this is the place you need to be. 👍 Steve 20.7 23

Had a fantastic day, well organised, safe, good instruction. Looking forward to the next one. 👍🏻 Adam 12.5.23

Just emailing to say thanks so much to you, the team and especially the coaches I had this year (Rob, Sean, and Gary) all of whom have been absolutely brilliant. I have learned a tonne and made a lot of progress – from being somewhat hesitant of jumping on an R7 coming from a 300 on the street… to actually doing alright in the faster group on the most recent day. Daniel 12.8.23

I can’t rate this highly enough I’ve been riding a lot of years on road and track but still learnt so much experience, my first session I was very nervous but relaxed after that for the rest of the day my instructor was Alex (Hutchy) ex racer who was absolutely amazing, got me relaxed on the bike and riding smoother than I ever have, and got some good advice off Gareth the instructor riding behind me on the briefing telling me where I can improve.

‘I knew you’d be busy yesterday, so I didn’t come and pester you, but wanted to say thank you. Given me stacks of confidence and I think I’ll be back on the one of the first two dates for level 2 on my own bike next year.’ Neil 30.9.22

“Thank you for a great day yesterday. A great set up and we all took something from it.

Can I ask the name of the coach I had please?

Yellow group. Regards, Lee  21.4.23″

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the great day today! Please could I provisionally put my name down for the 8th of June for Level 2. I need to clear it with work first to get time off, but don’t expect it to be a problem – will confirm later in the week.

Could I go for the R7 package again, and if I could be with Rob again if he’s teaching that would be great.

Thank you, Daniel 21.4.23

Morning  Mike,  thanks had a great day forgot how good Blyton was , see you soon

Take care, Regards Phil 13.5.23

Hi

Just attended your day at Blyton last Friday. I’d like to sign in for the next day at blyton on the 20th July and progress a bit more please.

Jamie 13.5.23

“Hi Mike. Ian the photographer gave me your email address.

I was on the track day Friday 12th May. Blyton Park.

Probably remember me for one of two ways. My Mrs kirsty with the long blonde hair. Or for me falling off the R7. Red 4.

Do you have a feed back page.

Really want to write something about the day.

If not please accept this review.

I had an amazing time. From start to finish. Even the bit in the middle where I fell off.

The event location track everything is spot on. The staff. Cafe. Marshalls. First responders. The instructors. The classroom training. Everything is amazing.

Definitely came away with more knowledge but most importantly some memories that I will never forget.

I definitely be returning hopefully on my own bike next time.

If you would be as kind to pass on my thanks and gratitude to everyone involved.

Even though you allow riders to push themselves it is controlled but not over controlled as to spoil the day. If that makes sense.

Once again many many thanks for a fantastic experience. Keep up the great work.

Many thanks Barry and Kirsty” 14.5.23

….. really enjoyed meeting you, love the way you run things, all lovely people and very much look forward to seeing you next year 😊 Courtney Scarlett 30.9.22

Hi Michael,

Just wanted to reiterate what I said earlier.

I’ve had a fantastic day today and really progressed with my riding thanks to Dave. He noticed some of my draw backs straight away and we worked on rectifying them all day and now I feel like I control the way I can go in and out of bends with much more confidence rather than guessing everything, it’s certainly made me quicker.

We ended at the end having loads of fun on the track which stuck with me all the way home for a 3 hour journey.

One of the best days I’ve had out on my bike.

I’m definitely going to book onto the level 2 course. Thanks again for today 👍🏻

Regards

Scott

Today was superb!

Sean was great with me and I feel I really progressed throughout the day

The little R7 is perfect too (I’ve actually bought one) great to ride it at Blyton

Thanks again and see you soon

Please pass on my gratitude to Sean as well

Epic!!

Regards

Chad

Hi Mike firstly thank you for hosting such a great day today. I know I’ve had my moneys worth cos I’m knackered lying on the sofa. So thank you.

Also pass on my thanks and gratitude to Darren Jones, out Instructor for the day. I’ve been a few times now over the years and have to say today was the best so far made so by Darren, his instruction and particularly the way he delivered his briefs and debriefs and with such good humour. You’ve good yourself a good one there.

I look forward to returning

Martin ❤️👌

Thank you for an utterly amazing day! I’ve learned so much about what I and my bike are capable of. David. 24.6.21

Many thanks for today really enjoyed it and having only passed bike test 4 weeks ago was well worth it. Chad 24.6.21

I’ve never given feedback before but the experience was so fantastic I really want to give thanks to yourself, the coaches & staff. Quite simply, this was one of the best days I’ve ever had. The layout of the day was perfect, enough time between each session to reflect & get feedback from my coach. Michael 24.6.21

Thanks again for yesterday’s track day. I really enjoyed it, great fun and lots of learning. David 24.6.21

What a fantastic days training! Thanks to mike and his team of instructors especially Richard!
Both Andrew and myself have come away with so much more knowledge of how our bikes handles and how to handle our bikes. The day was well structured with classroom instruction and then excellent track instruction . No pressure to go beyond your capabilities but enough encouragement to progress with your riding. 10 out of 10 we will be back !!! Marion and Andrew

Many thanks for a really enjoyable day on Thursday. Our coach Ian was “mint” and we learned a lot through his guidance and humour. Cheers Ian! Will be back for level III at some point. Tim – S1000R

Amazing day, learnt loads! Feed back and classroom sessions were very constructive. Big thanks to my instructor Vincent, made my day!

Hi Mike,

I just wanted to say how much I got from the the day yesterday, Sean was brilliant, very patient and good at explaining to my sometimes muddled brain what we were aiming for.

There are 12 miles of narrow bendy country roads just before I get home where I had a bit of a rear wheel slip on a corner in the winter, so I have had the heebies about them ever since. I rode them yesterday evening in a completely different frame of mind, the right gear, the right position, positive throttle and thinking about what we’d covered in the theory and practised on track and it was brilliant!

Thank you,

Jo Naylor

Hi Mike,

Many thanks to you and all of your staff for another great day at Blyton Park. Despite the odd shower generally the weather was dry if a little on the cool side – it is only April after all.

Running on a ratio of 2 clients to 1 instructor made for a greater level of instruction and feedback. Only 4 groups on the track ensured there was plenty of room to practice
the lesson taught in the classroom. Five classroom followed by five 20 mins track sessions was just about right for most people.

The introduction of the level three course ensures that people of all abilities are catered for, from the first timer on track, to those looking at going racing.

The attitude and friendliness of the Instructors, Marshall’s and Catering staff are a credit to you and ensure an enjoyable experience for all concerned.

The Mantra of “this is a training day NOT a track day” is a good one and as a professional instructor myself, I can’t think that any motorcyclist would not benefit from a day with you.

In Summary, another great day, lots of new stuff learned, friendly staff and better road riding as a result – Happy days.

Best Regards
Dave Russell

Thanks again for a fantastic day really enjoyed it. Extra thanks to Simon my instructor of the day for helping me gain more confidence and better lines through the corners. My legs and shoulders are aching a bit this morning though. I still couldn’t master ushers either lol.

– Rachel, Huddersfield

As a professional road rider and advanced motorcycle trainer today just demonstrates that no matter what level you think your at you can still learn loads more. Hats off to Nigel top guy good feedback pushed me to make the most of the experience. If your thinking about this get it booked. – Mike Humberside Police

‘Was great to put it all into practice over the weekend in Wales! Smoother and certainly faster round them pesky bends!! Lol!’. Was a great day and would thoroughly recommend to anyone! Jo, Market Harborough

‘It was my first time on a track and there was too much to learn in one day. (Translation: I need to come back!). I was so much better and more confident at the Milton Keynes roundabouts on the way back. So money well spent!’ Dave, Loughton.

‘I think you have got to grips with the issues and will be providing excellent and well needed training to the masses moving forward. I wish you every success and will be keeping a close eye with a mind to taking along groups in the future’ Bud, Barnsley

‘I think overall, what with the very fluid (no pun intended) events of the day, you excelled at bringing everything together!! Keep up the great work trying to bring that extra understanding of what makes a good rider to the rest of us’. Michael, Nottingham

I had a great day, and learned a lot. It was well worthwhile for me and thank you to the whole team including the organisers, tutors, marshals ….. Mark, Batley

‘…here’s some footage shot from my bike at the Blyton Park track training day. Jules at Flextion kindly lent me one of their new data loggers and he combined this with footage shot on a high def GoPro video camera using software called AXIS Override’. Andy, Derby http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qETIfRcic_U&feature=share%27%2C%29

I thoroughly enjoyed the day, the best day I’ve had on the bike, and possibly the best day of my life! The coaching was good, and the track was easy to ride. Even in the poor weather the coaches and the track gave me the confidence to go fast. I feel confident enough to go onto trackdays and improve upon the skills I’ve learnt. The general atmosphere was great… Jack, Chesterfield

Pleased to say I learnt a lot, explained things clearly & gave me a lot of good advice I am putting into practice. Andy Wainfleet

Big THANK YOU to you all…. Specially Nigel 🙂 Benji & i had a great day inspite of the weather…. was like having our own private coach for the day, BRILLIANT x Ellie & Benji (The Fireblade) Lincoln

  1. Just wanted to drop you a quick email to say thank you for a great day yesterday. All the staff were great and the instruction was top notch. I must’ve already recommended you to at least half a dozen people who have been asking me about my day and how it was. Great bunch of people, great feedback from the instructors and great group sizes. Might just have to look at the level 2 for next time. Thank you once again.
